"ADVANCING GENDER EQUALITY THROUGH INCLUSIVE EDUCATION: STRATEGIES AND OUTCOME"

Education is widely recognized as a key driver of personal growth and national development. Providing education to both males and females leads to similar improvements in their future earnings and broadens their opportunities and choices. However, educating girls offers additional socio-economic benefits that positively impact entire communities. These benefits include higher economic productivity, increased household incomes, delayed marriage, lower fertility rates, and improved health and survival outcomes for infants and children. Historically, efforts in education have prioritized access and gender parity—ensuring that boys and girls enroll in school at equal rates. However, less emphasis has been placed on retention, academic achievement, and the quality and relevance of education. Delivering high-quality education not only enhances enrollment and retention rates but also ensures that both boys and girls can fully maximize the advantages of education. This paper outlines a framework designed to promote gender equality through education.
