TCVN 2737:2023 is an important standard and input load for the design standards system of Vietnam and affects the construction costs, life safety and integration of the standards system of Vietnam with the world. The standard has been effective since June 2023 and has many new points compared to the standard TCVN 2737:1995. In particular, the wind load part has many changes in calculation method, reliability factor of wind load, pressure coefficient. This article presents the basis for determining the reliability factor of wind loads in TCVN 2737:2023.
