Abstract: This interview features Darren Freebury-Jones, Lecturer in Shakespeare Studies at the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust. Freebury-Jones shares how his career and education inflect his current role at the Trust. He also offers recommendations for early career scholars curious about similar work and provides information about continuing education available through the Trust. " SEL : The Interview" is a recurring feature of the journal that puts the editors in direct conversation with professionals whose training and education is in literary analysis and scholarship, but whose work is outside of or adjacent to faculty positions.
