Thermodynamic and kinetic study of the effect of LiCl and NaCl on the thermal dehydrogenation of Ca(AlH4)2
Thermodynamic data of Ca(AlH 4 ) 2 and CaAlH 5 were determined and the influence of LiCl and NaCl on their decomposition behaviour was assessed. It turned out that LiCl influenced the decomposition of CaAlH 5 , whereas NaCl behaves as an inert by-product.
