Development of Microblog-Based Digital Learning Content to Increase Student Knowledge

Civic Education is an important subject for a country because there is a form of social contract between citizens and the state, but not a few teachers in delivering learning materials that are not completely holistic and in line with students' understanding, as a result, there is a tendency to decline student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study is to find out the learning process in the field and develop learning content effectively to improve student knowledge. The method used in this study is a development study (RnD) with the ASSURE model, which includes the following steps: (1) Analyzing the characteristics of students, (2) State standards and goals, (3) Selecting, methods, media, and materials, (4) Utilizing materials, (5) Requiring student participation, and (6) Evaluating and revising. The types of data used are qualitative and quantitative. The sources of data for this research include PPKn MA teacher An-Nawawiyah Jepara, expert lecturer of FKIP UNS, and grade 11 students. The results of this study are that there is a difference in student learning outcomes before and after the implementation of learning with microblog content and it can be seen that the effectiveness of learning content obtained a score of 44.30 (quite effective).
