Ứng dụng thuật toán RDMO trong thiết kế đa mục tiêu của giàn thép
This paper introduces a multi-objective optimization approach for planar steel truss structures, employing the RDMO algorithm-a hybrid of the Rao-1 algorithm and differential evolution (DE). The study focuses on two primary objectives: minimizing the total weight of the truss and reducing the lateral displacement at the truss apex, with the design variables defined as the cross-sectional areas of the truss members within a specified range. Direct analysis is implemented to accurately simulate the nonlinear behavior of the structure and evaluate its maximum load-bearing capacity under realistic conditions. A 10-bar planar steel truss is selected as a case study for illustration. The results demonstrate that RDMO effectively eliminates complex control parameters while achieving a balanced trade-off between convergence speed, high accuracy, and solution diversity. By enhancing the Rao-1 mutation strategy with non-dominated sorting and crowding distance techniques, RDMO exhibits superior performance in improving truss design, offering significant potential for widespread applications in modern civil engineering.
