This short commentary helps provide references and learning materials for solving urban issues and a path to realizing urban resilience in Indonesia. In addition, this commentary enriches the discourse on challenges and opportunities in managing sustainability and preparing resilience in urban environments. It provides valuable insights into the relationship between resilience and sustainability in the urban governance literature.
