Study of temperature regime and stress-strain state of working rolls
The issues of reducing stresses in the surface layer of the working roll of the mill 2000 of PJSC Magnitogorsk Iron&Steel Works, as well as increasing their heat resistance in the stands of the semi-finished and finishing groups are considered. Supplying water with a temperature of 45 °C allow reducing the stresses in the surface layer of the roll by 1.62 times compared to the existing ones for stand No. 7 and 5.5 times for stand No. 13.
