Effect of laser microstructuring on deformation hardening and heterogeneity of properties of 45 steel rolled
The use of an improved methodology for calculating of the parameters of anisotropy, plastic flow, strain hardening, and inhomogeneity of the mechanical properties of rolled sheet samples under uniform tensile deformation to assess the effect of surface laser microstructuring on them is considered. An analysis of the experimental results showed that uniaxial stretching of flat samples made of 45 sheet steel and subjected to laser microstructuring leads to an increase in yield strength and strength compared with the initial state on average by 6...10 %, and elongation by 8 %. Thus, laser microstructuring has a positive effect on the mechanical properties of 45 steel under tension.
