Online violence is characterized by the prevalence and diversity of violent phenomena, the organization and guidance of violent behaviors, and the breadth and persistence of violent injuries, so it also faces many difficulties in the process of governance. In the era of self-media, tackling online violence requires both the symptoms and the root causes, and multi-party coordination. Only with the joint efforts of the government, self-media platforms, mainstream media, and the vast number of netizens can we create a healthy, good, and clear online ecological environment.
