SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN THE SYSTEM OF FACTORS FOR EFFECTIVE SOLUTION OF SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC PROBLEMS IN POST-WAR RECOVERY

The article examines the impact of social entrepreneurship on solving social and economic problems caused by the war, in particular on the reintegration of veterans, support for internally displaced persons, and assistance to affected communities. The dynamics of income-based poverty levels from 2001 to 2023 are analyzed. It is established that the war had the greatest impact on the scale of extreme poverty, pushing almost every tenth Ukrainian to the brink of survival. The dynamics of changes in the business activity index during 2021–2024 are considered. It is revealed that the business activity index in 2024 still has not reached the level of 2021. It is proven that innovative models of social business help to promptly address critical needs of the population: create jobs for internally displaced persons and vulnerable groups, establish new educational platforms, mobile medical centers, cultural initiatives for community reintegration, facilitate the attraction of investments into social projects, support war veterans and affected communities, and contribute to strengthening the resilience of the economy through the development of local businesses, etc. It has been established that effective post-war recovery is impossible without coordinated efforts aimed at meeting the basic needs of the population affected by the war. However, for a long-term impact, humanitarian initiatives must be combined with mechanisms that promote self-sufficiency, employment, and social integration of affected groups. In this context, social entrepreneurship becomes not just an additional tool but a key element in creating sustainable solutions. The article emphasizes the practical aspects of developing social enterprises in the context of post-war economic transformation. It presents examples of social enterprises operating in various sectors that contribute to solving social and economic problems and simultaneously ensure the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The directions of the impact of social entrepreneurship on post-war recovery through the achievement of SDGs are systematized.
