Methods for Analyzing the Content of Petroleum Products in Soil
The article discusses the methods that are most often used to determine and control the level of oil and petroleum products in the soil. Their comparative analysis is carried out. The data obtained from the study of soils contaminated with petroleum products by fluorimetric and gravimetric analysis, as well as IR spectroscopy, are analyzed. The indicators obtained during the study using IR spectroscopy are higher than when using the fluorimetric and gravimetric methods, one of the reasons for this, in our opinion, is the different nature of extractants.
