Solitary Radius Metastasis as the First Presentation of Renal Cell Carcinoma Revealed by Bone Scintigraphy
Solitary radius metastasis as the initial presentation of renal cell carcinoma is extremely rare. Here we present the bone scintigraphy findings of a 72-year-old man who complained of left wrist pain for 6 months. The 99m Tc-MDP bone scintigraphy demonstrated intense ring-like MDP uptake in the distal left radius. Finally, solitary radius metastasis from renal cell carcinoma was confirmed.
