IMAGE-MAKING OF UKRAINE IN THE CONTEXT OF CYBERNETICISATION OF INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS
The purpose of the study is to identify urgent tasks, promising ways and methods oftheir solution in the context of Ukraineʼs image-making in the context of the digitalisationof international public communications, taking into account the current socio-politicalsituation of Ukraine, caused by its counteraction to the total Russian aggression, whichbegan on 24 February 2022. Given the global experience and challenges of the digitalera in the public communications segment, the authors focus on mass media influencesand contradictory processes of intellectualisation and simultaneous primitivisation(symbolic, figurative, non-verbal, and information presentation) in social cybercommunications. It is determined that the urgent task of national image-making is to forma digital image of Ukraine. This, according to scholars, requires the widespread use ofthe method of visual narratives and the tools of the public communication segment ofcyber diplomacy. The researchers believe that multimedia communication platforms asplatforms for interaction with the foreign public are an effective means of this, which isextremely important due to the need to strengthen Ukraineʼs relations with its allies andto attract countries that have not yet decided to support the Ukrainian state in itsresistance to the Russian occupier.
