The scientific novelty of the presented work lies in the systematization and generalization of book, press and sheet publications that were published in Ukraine during the period of the Union of the UРR and the WUРR. Among the latter are official publications of the authorities of that time, scientific, popular science, journalistic works, agitation and propaganda brochures, educational and fiction literature, etc. The result of the research was an event analysis of the dynamics of the process of the formation of the Great Sobornaya Ukraine from the proclamation to the abolition of the Union of the UРR and the WUРR and an emphasis on the special role of Symon Petliura in the attempt to preserve a single Ukrainian state. As a result, publications that are currently little used have been introduced into scientific circulation, the bibliographical description of which was compiled by specialists of the Book Chamber of Ukraine. The practical significance of the results obtained lies in the possibility of their application in future research.
