The Formation Process of Marx’s Thought on the “Real Human” and Its Value in the Era

The people-oriented nature is a distinctive feature of Marxism, and placing the people at the center is the essential embodiment of the materialist view of history. Marx and Engels, through their critique of the “abstract man” represented by the Young Hegelians such as Bauer, Feuerbach, and Stirner, elucidated a new worldview and the “real man” as a premise of this new worldview, indicating the practical direction for human liberation and highlighting the theoretical and practical foundation of Marxist philosophy. The theory of the “real man” still holds significant value in contemporary times, and researchers must adopt a people-centered stance and effectively utilize the scientific method of practice to ensure that Marxism keeps pace with the times and ultimately achieves human liberation.
