SLC7A5: A Potential Molecular Target for the Diagnosis and Treatment of TNBC
TNBC is a highly heterogeneous malignant tumor with limited clinical treatment options and efficacy. Through a series of analyses and screenings, we have identified SLC7A5 as a potential biomarker for targeted therapy of TNBC. Experimental results have shown that knocking down SLC7A5 can significantly inhibit the proliferation of TNBC, and we have also identified quercetin, a Chinese herbal ingredient with lower cost and efficacy comparable to the existing SLC7A5 specific inhibitor JPH-203. Experimental results have shown that quercetin can also significantly inhibit the proliferation of TNBC. Our research provides new ideas and lessons for clinical treatment.
