THE IMPACT OF ROBOTIZATION ON THE LABOR MARKET: TRENDS AND CHALLENGES

The rapid development of robotics and automation is fundamentally transforming the labor market, creating both opportunities and challenges for workers and employers. Artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and robotic systems are being increasingly integrated into various industries, replacing traditional jobs while simultaneously generating new professional opportunities. This transition raises concerns about job displacement, workforce adaptation, and the future of employment in a highly automated economy. The topic is particularly relevant in the context of global digitalization and technological advancements, which require innovative approaches to labor market regulation and workforce reskilling. The primary objective of this study is to analyze the impact of robotics and automation on employment trends, identify key challenges associated with technological displacement, and explore potential strategies for workforce adaptation. The research aims to determine which professions are at the highest risk of automation, what new jobs will emerge, and how governments and businesses can support workers in transitioning to new economic realities. Additionally, the study examines policy recommendations and education strategies to minimize the negative consequences of job automation. The study employs a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods to provide a comprehensive overview of labor market transformations. The analysis includes literature review (Examining academic papers, reports from international organizations), comparative analysis, statistical analysis (Utilizing data from labor market research institutions to assess job displacement risks and emerging employment opportunities). Automation and robotics are reshaping the global labor market, necessitating proactive measures to mitigate job displacement risks while capitalizing on emerging opportunities. To navigate this transformation, stakeholders—including policymakers, businesses, and educational institutions—must invest in lifelong learning programs, foster innovation, and implement policies that support workforce adaptation. The study concludes that rather than viewing automation as a threat, societies should embrace it as a catalyst for economic growth and workforce evolution.
