THE IMPACT OF SMART HRM ON ENTERPRISE HR SYSTEM EFFICIENCY IN THE DIGITAL ECONOMY
The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the Smart HRM concept as an innovative model of human resource management emerging in response to digital transformation. The research emphasizes the shift of HRM functions from administrative support to strategic business partnership through the integration of digital technologies such as Big Data analytics, artificial intelligence, cloud platforms, automated talent management systems, and e-learning tools. A theoretical comparison between traditional and Smart HRM approaches is presented, highlighting key advantages including increased productivity, personalized learning and development, transparent and data-driven decision-making. The article includes a case study of the Ukrainian IT company “Intelsoft Group” which implemented Smart HRM solutions between 2021 and 2024. The paper also outlines critical challenges of Smart HRM implementation, such as lack of digital competencies, cybersecurity risks, organizational inertia, and employee resistance to change. The findings confirm that Smart HRM plays a vital role in enhancing business resilience and competitiveness in the digital economy. Future research should focus on assessing enterprise readiness for digital HRM transformation and developing professional competencies of HR specialists in a digital environment. In addition, the article offers practical recommendations for enterprises aiming to implement Smart HRM, emphasizing the importance of aligning digital tools with corporate strategy, investing in staff digital literacy, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation. These factors are crucial for building sustainable HR ecosystems capable of supporting organizational growth under conditions of rapid technological change.
