Financial risk management is a key factor in ensuring the stability and development of economic entities during martial law, as the country is experiencing a crisis that significantly affects the financial stability of the enterprise. This issue is becoming particularly relevant, as everyone strives to maximize profitability while minimizing costs. The article examines the issues of financial risk management using statistical methods for their assessment. It is determined that financial risk is an integral part of any economic activity, and it has a negative impact on the activities of the enterprise. The main key aspects of financial risk, their multifaceted nature and interrelation with various factors are emphasized. It is justified that it is very important for an enterprise to conduct a detailed assessment of all possible financial risks and develop strategies to minimize them, taking into account both internal and external factors that may affect them. The need to use statistical methods in assessing financial risks is emphasized, which is due to the fact that the modern economy is very dynamic and complex and quite often the factors that form financial risks do not have an analytical description. In such conditions, enterprises deal with a large number of various factors that can negatively affect their activities. Statistical methods allow to systematize, analyze and predict these factors, as well as to assess the probability of risks and their possible consequences. The key stage is the pre-processing of statistical data, which determines the quality and accuracy of subsequent analytical results. For a more complete and accurate risk assessment, it is important to use the methods considered and combine them with other approaches, since despite their advantages, they have a number of disadvantages that can have a significant impact on the accuracy and efficiency of decision-making. At the same time, the unpredictability of the external and internal environment should be taken into account, which can have a significant impact on the financial stability of the enterprise. The use of statistical methods in assessing financial risks is of great practical value, as they are able to provide sound and objective data for financial risk management, which will allow enterprises to identify potential problems, predict their consequences, and develop a strategy to prevent them.
