INTEGRATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL, ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL APPROACHES IN THE PROCESS OF OPTIMIZING THE POTENTIAL OF ENTERPRISES IN THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY

The article presents the results of research on the topical issue of integrating environmental, economic and social performance of agricultural enterprises in the circular economy. The role of optimizing the potential of enterprises in solving this problem is determined. The main directions and tools for strategic development of potential in order to obtain long-term competitive advantages by enterprises, which should ensure their sustainable economic development with a relatively higher increase in social standards of personnel while reducing the negative impact on the environment, are investigated. It is determined that the main source of achieving these goals is the ability of enterprise management, through motivational support, to form and effectively use highly qualified creative personnel, non-standard eco-thinking of employees, which will ensure the ability to optimize such system-forming elements of the enterprise as production technologies, operational activities, motivation system, organizational culture, and information system. At the same time, the key instrument for developing the enterprise’s potential is optimization of potential management, which is a set of managerial abilities and measures to ensure proportionality and optimal interaction of structural and functional potentials in order to achieve the state of the enterprise’s integral potential close to the optimal one. It has been researched that the optimality of management is achieved by a set of adopted and successfully implemented effective decisions, which in practice is realized by forming a mechanism for optimizing the management of enterprise potential, the key element of which is to determine the criteria for optimal decisions. It is noted that the general criterion for the optimality of a management decision is to obtain the maximum end result from its implementation at minimal cost. Achievement of the optimality criterion is ensured by motivation, competence, dedication, creativity of managers and their teams at all levels of management, innovation of approaches to solving specific tasks and consideration of relevant external and internal factors of influence when developing solutions. A comprehensive model for optimizing the potential of the studied enterprises has been developed on the basis of achieving optimal values of the main parameters of the structural and functional potentials of the enterprise. Abstract
