SCHOOLS AND INNOVATIONS: MONUMENTAL PAINTING OF CHINA DURING THE PERIOD OF REFORM AND OPENNESS
The paper presents notable projects of monumental painting and their authors.Special attention is given to the history of the creation of the monumental painting cycle for the Beijing International Airport.The novelty and significance of the innovative pursuits of monumental artists are analyzed in the context of artistic and social processes.
