Full Short-wave Infrared High-speed Thin-film Lithium Niobate Electro-optic Modulator
We demonstrate a broadband integrated Mach–Zehnder modulator with a record 800-nm operation bandwidth in the shortwave infrared. The measured 3-dB electro-optic bandwidth of the modulator exceeds 67/67/48 GHz for the O-/C-/2-μm bands, facilitating high-speed data transmission beyond 100 Gbaud/λ across all these wavebands.
