Ferroelectric Composite Materials Based on Polyvinylidene Fluoride with Addition of Molybdenum Disulfide Nanosheets
Several studies have reported that doping the polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) polymer matrix with molybdenum disulfide <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$(\text{MoS}_{2})$</tex> nanosheets leads to a significant increase in the ferroelectric phase of the composite and, consequently, to an increase in the piezoelectric coefficient <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\mathrm{d}_{33}$</tex>. Molybdenum disulfide in the form of two-dimensional structures (nanosheets) has high surface activity, which makes it a promising additive for creating composites. At present, published data are somewhat scattered and do not allow an unambiguous assessment of the effect of <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\text{MoS}_{2}$</tex> on the composite properties. This work is aimed at studying the effect of <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\text{MoS}_{2}$</tex> concentration on the ferroelectric properties of PVDF. The work studies change in the PVDF structure and electrophysical properties when <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\text{MoS}_{2}$</tex> is introduced into it in various concentrations. It was found that the addition of 1% molybdenum disulfide significantly increases the permittivity of the material and the content of the ferroelectric phase.
