Multiple Objects Tracking Algorithm for Car Radar

A substantial body of research has been dedicated to tracking single objects using mm-wave radars, reflecting the maturity of single object tracking systems. However, there is a growing need for innovative research and advancements in the field of tracking multiple objects with mm-wave radars, particularly in addressing the challenge of uniquely identifying multiple target trajectories within a discontinuous field of view. This article aims to offer an overview of the most recent progress in multiple objects tracking, comparing advancements in terms of accuracy. While the majority of the reviewed literature focuses on human targets, many of the techniques discussed can be adapted to objects with profiles and characteristics that differ from those of humans.
