Influence of Defects in Railway Transport System on Increase of Noise Exposure
This paper examines the primary dynamic characteristics of the railway track and how noise and vibration are generated and propagated, highlighting the challenges that arise in densely populated urban settings. A method is presented to account for the influence of defects and deviations from the intended design on the dynamic behavior of railway track structures. A section of track is modelled using equations describing vertical vibrations of an elastic beam, taking into account key points. Each component of the track is represented by Hertz type elastic elements with variable stiffness parameters, allowing adjustments to be made based on changing contact conditions.
