Analysis of Energy Efficiency and Miniaturization Issues of Internet of Things Components in Energy Complex

The development of digital transformation methods and tools imposes serious requirements on the dimensions of modern cyber-physical systems. The development of the Internet of Things, including the Industrial Internet of Things, creates new requirements for the placement density, reliability and energy efficiency of functional modules. One of the solutions to this problem is the wider use of embedded components. This technology allows placing electronic components inside interconnection structures. The spatial layout solutions proposed in the work allow increasing the placement density and reducing the dimensions of devices, increasing their reliability and energy efficiency. The main attention in the work is paid to the principles of implementing embedded inductors and capacitors as typical components. The conducted comparative analysis allowed to propose promising approaches to the implementation of embedded components and formulate recommendations for their further use.
