Constructive Solutions and Efficiency of Electrolyzers for Hydrogen Production in Laboratory and Industrial Conditions
The article addresses the pressing issue of enhancing the efficiency of electrolysis in the context of increasing demand for environmentally friendly hydrogen as an energy source. The study focuses on comparing bipolar and monopolar electrolyzers to improve their performance. The importance of this analysis is driven by the need to enhance the economic efficiency and environmental sustainability of hydrogen energy. Experimental work allows for the assessment of electrolyzer performance under various conditions, promoting the advancement of energy storage technologies. These conditions are particularly crucial for creating systems capable of meeting future energy needs of “green” energy, which require powerful electrolyzer installations.
