The System of Automation for the Positioning of an Auto Operator of a Galvanic Line Using Inductive Sensors and a Frequency Converter

This paper describes a developed and tested complex method for automating the positioning system of an auto operator of a galvanic line using a two-channel inductive encoder, a frequency converter for motion control and the organization of a data transmission scheme. The features of the use of inductive sensors of various designs are reflected. An optimal method for constructing a control and data exchange scheme for controlling the speed of a frequency converter and stopping it is proposed. Also in this article, the geometric features of the execution of response plates of inductive positioning sensors are proposed and described, as well as the algorithm of the developed software for processing signals from a two-channel inductive encoder, which is joint work of inductive sensors and a specialized controller. All the solutions listed here are implemented on two galvanic lines, their trial operation was carried out for six months, which showed the absence of failures in the positioning of auto operators due to the failure of this system.
