The Development of the Ejection Flotator for the Power Entarprise Oily Wastewater Treatment

The problem of wastewater treatment of energy enterprises is considered. To increase the efficiency of water treatment and to reduce energy consumption and duration of the process, a flotator with ejection aeration system is proposed in this paper. Mathematical simulation based on Ksenofontov's multistage model and experimental purification of oily water in a laboratory unit under different operating modes was carried out. The most efficient mode was selected according to obtained results. The results of theoretical and experimental studies coincided within the measurement error. The best performance was obtained when using an annular aerator with a dispersant (water-air mixture flow velocity was 13 m/s). At the same time the treatment efficiency was 84 % at the process time of 25 minutes. Recommendations on determination of aerator size are given.
