Her Shield: Women Safety System using Voice AI
Women's safety is a critical concern, requiring innovative solutions to address the risks and challenges they face in emergencies. This project introduces a voice AI-powered mobile application designed to provide real-time, hands-free emergency assistance. The system leverages machine learning algorithms to detect distress signals, such as screams or predefined safety keywords (e.g., "help"), even when physical access to the phone is not possible. Upon detection, the app automatically triggers a series of actions, including alerting emergency contacts, sharing real-time location, and recording the incident for further reference. By integrating AI-driven voice recognition, the app ensures high accuracy in detecting genuine distress signals while minimizing false positives. This proactive approach enhances personal safety by enabling quick, reliable, and automated emergency response, making it an accessible and effective tool for women’s security.
