Prospects for Economic Integration of Artificial Intelligence in the Context of Technology Shocks

This paper examines the prospects for development and possible difficulties associated with the integration of artificial intelligence into all areas of the national economy. The types of applications of artificial intelligence in economics and business are described. The paper reveals the understanding of “technology integration” as an economic phenomenon and describes the mechanism and types of technology shocks. The relevance of the study is described. Classical and specific technology shocks associated with artificial intelligence technologies are identified and analyzed. Functional, technological, economic, and socio-political aspects of the development, implementation and integration of artificial intelligence technologies are described. The analysis of critical infrastructure and technology issues for artificial intelligence is carried out. The issues of integrating artificial intelligence technologies into the national economy are presented. Conclusions are drawn on the technology integration considering the mechanism of technology shocks.
