Classification Types Recommendations for the Innovation Projects Management

This paper examines approaches to project management within manufacturing companies using a matrix evaluation model that takes into account the level of investment and impact on stakeholders. Key structural elements and derived project characteristics are analysed in order to adapt innovation process models for different types of projects. Elements of the structural model of the innovation process that are necessary in any private model are identified, and recommendations are identified depending on the type of project and its location on the matrix model. The proposed matrix and recommendations allow organizations to optimize resource allocation, reduce risks and improve project outcomes, especially in knowledge-intensive industries.

Abstract

This paper examines approaches to project management within manufacturing companies using a matrix evaluation model that takes into account the level of investment and impact on stakeholders. Key structural elements and derived project characteristics are analysed in order to adapt innovation process models for different types of projects. Elements of the structural model of the innovation process that are necessary in any private model are identified, and recommendations are identified depending on the type of project and its location on the matrix model. The proposed matrix and recommendations allow organizations to optimize resource allocation, reduce risks and improve project outcomes, especially in knowledge-intensive industries.
