Development of a Methodology for Homogenisation of Water-Fuel Emulsion Using Vibroresonance Technology
This paper sets out to describe the technologies that are utilized in the production of “water-fuel emulsions”. The technique of homogenizing water-fuel emulsions by means of vibroresonance technology has been developed, thus allowing the mixture to be prepared without the use of emulsifiers. This development considerably simplifies and reduces the cost of the process. In addition, laboratory experiments have been conducted to investigate the impact of vibroresonance on waterfuel emulsions at various frequencies and levels of vibroinfluence. The methodology proposed in this study facilitates preparation of a water-fuel emulsion of satisfactory quality. In order to analyze the experimental results, a sample was taken from the middle of the cylindrical flanged pipe for investigation; the evaluation on the color parameter showed that the most stable emulsion over time was the sample subjected to vibration action at a resonant frequency.
