Stationary Operating Modes of a Biharmonic Oscillator with Frequency Multiplicity Three

This paper analyzes the operational modes of a biharmonic oscillator with two synchronized harmonics and frequency multiplicity three. It demonstrates the possibility of a synchronous biharmonic mode and presents a mathematical model for analyzing the operational modes of the oscillator. This model is a system of shortened differential equations. The solution is obtained by graphical analysis of the system of equations, taking into consideration in the variation of the self-excitation margin of the oscillator harmonics for two cases of generalized phase difference.

Abstract

This paper analyzes the operational modes of a biharmonic oscillator with two synchronized harmonics and frequency multiplicity three. It demonstrates the possibility of a synchronous biharmonic mode and presents a mathematical model for analyzing the operational modes of the oscillator. This model is a system of shortened differential equations. The solution is obtained by graphical analysis of the system of equations, taking into consideration in the variation of the self-excitation margin of the oscillator harmonics for two cases of generalized phase difference.
