Study of the Process of Thermal Decomposition of Sewage Sludge
This work is devoted to the study of the pyrolysis method for the disposal of sewage sludge. Sewer sludge is both fine and coarse wet silt, which requires its processing and disposal. The research determined its composition, moisture content, and environmental impact. Experiments were conducted to analyze pyrolysis processes, resulting in the material balance of the sludge pyrolysis process. Key advantages of pyrolysis include reducing sludge volume, extracting valuable hydrocarbons, and minimizing environmental harm. Its safety and efficiency establish it as a viable and innovative approach encouraging further development of sludge processing methods. Sludge pyrolysis offers an economical, environmentally friendly approach to converting waste into useful organic products, aligning with sustainable development goals and easing environmental strain on natural resources. These findings have practical applications in waste management and provide a foundation for advancing recycling technologies to improve sustainability.
