Research on the planning and operation of integrated energy systems with hydrogen storage systems
With the increasing integration of renewable energy into power grids, modern power systems face unprecedented challenges in operational flexibility and stability. Integrated energy systems (IES), as a pivotal support component for these systems, enhance renewable energy absorption while ensuring secure and reliable operation. To further exploit the active support potential and operational flexibility of IES, this study establishes a hydrogen energy storage-based IES optimization model. The model prioritizes economic efficiency as the primary objective function under energy balance constraints and equipment operational limitations. Case studies demonstrate that the proposed hydrogen-integrated planning model ensures reliable electricity and heat supply, reduces carbon emissions, and improves renewable energy absorption capacity.
