Application of the Zonal Method for Heat Transfer Calculation in the Tower-Type Steam Boiler
This study applies the zonal method to analyze heat transfer in an oil/gas-fired tower-type steam boiler developed by Inter RAO - Engineering LLC. The method provides an efficient approach to predicting radiative heat transfer and optimizing thermal performance. Key parameters such as heat flux distribution, gas temperature variations, and combustion efficiency are evaluated. The results offer insights into improving boiler efficiency, reducing fuel consumption, and lowering emissions, demonstrating the zonal method's practicality for industrial boiler optimization.
