The Method of Obtaining Deposits on the Heat Exchange Surface of Heat Exchangers

This article proposes a technique for obtaining deposits on plates of a recuperative plate heat exchanger and a technique for simulating leakages and leaks of the heat exchanger to prepare a conclusion on the effect of deposits and leakages on the hydraulic and temperature characteristics of the heat exchanger. The progress of the work on the developed stand for obtaining reference values of the temperature pressure and hydraulic resistance of the heat exchanger and their current values, taking into account the increase in deposits on the heat exchanger surface and the presence of leaks, is described in detail. This paper also discusses the most common malfunctions of heat exchangers that occur during operation. The causes of deposit formation on the heat exchange surface, leaks and seal failures are described.
