Knee Rehabilitation Orthosis Extension Assistance During Walking based on the IoT Platform
This research study shows the design and development of an Internet of Things-based knee orthosis that aids in walking extension is addressed in this study. The load on injured joints during rehabilitation is the main problem addressed. To allow for real-time tracking and remote monitoring, the system incorporates biomechanical sensors such as MEMS, gyroscope, heart rate, and pressure sensors. It facilitates the healing process after surgery by redistributing weight and lowering knee compression. Personalized therapy modifications are made possible by wireless access to a cloud platform. The device's ability to enhance recovery outcomes is demonstrated by the performance evaluation, which reveals notable increases in mobility and rehabilitation efficiency.
