SAFESTRIDE 360: IoT-Powered Smart Stroller

The Smart Stroller based on IoT meets the demands of contemporary parenting by combining automation, security, and convenience. Manual strollers demand constant control, which is a challenge for parents in terms of safety and convenience. This study aims to develop an intelligent stroller with a human-following feature, obstacle detection, slope braking with auto, and sunshade with weather sensitivity, all with the aim of minimizing parental effort while maintaining the safety of the child. Moreover, voice control through mobile apps improves user experience, enabling remote control. Sensors, motors, and microcontrollers combined provide real-time data processing, enhancing childcare product functionality. The proposed system greatly improves infant mobility solutions, providing hands-free control and improved safety. Future developments can involve AI-based navigation, real-time camera monitoring, GPS tracking with geofencing, baby crying detection, and a solar-powered energy system for improved sustainability. The Smart Stroller is a groundbreaking innovation in childcare technology, reducing parental effort while providing a safe and comfortable experience for children and caregivers alike.
