Enhanced Control for Power Quality Improvement in Three-Phase Grid Tied PV System
This article provides a technique for mitigating harmonics and load sharing in a grid interfaced PV system, both when the system is under load and when it is not, by using an improved feed forward decoupling (FFD) control-based Grid linked inverter control technique. In order to keep the dc link voltage stable, a fuzzy based Proportionalintegral-derivative (FLPID) controller is used. The suggested FPID-FFD control strategy consists of three loops: an MPPT loop, an external DC voltage loop, and an internal AC current loop. To maximize the output of a PV system, perturb and observe (P&O) is utilized. This method of control is not only effective in decoupling active and reactive power, but it is also easy to use and produces precise results. Both under load and without load, the suggested control technique exhibits satisfactory behavior in terms of eliminating harmonics. The suggested FLPID-FFD control technique is tested in matlab/Simulink with varying levels of irradiance. The archived results are found satisfactorily and are meeting within the IEEE-519 norms.
