Research on Dynamic Energy Regulation Algorithm for Hybrid Energy Storage in Large-Scale Island Microgrids
With the widespread application of renewable energy, improving the regulation efficiency of energy storage systems in island microgrids has become a key issue in enhancing system stability and energy utilization. This paper proposes a dynamic energy regulation algorithm based on a hybrid energy storage system, aiming to optimize the energy management of microgrids by dynamically adjusting the charging and discharging process of storage devices in real-time. The algorithm combines the advantages of lithium batteries and supercapacitors, allowing for dynamic adjustment of the energy storage system’s operation under varying load fluctuations and the uncertainty of renewable energy generation. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm outperforms traditional methods in terms of regulation accuracy, stability, and energy utilization efficiency, significantly reducing energy losses during the storage process and effectively extending the lifespan of the energy storage system. Furthermore, a detailed comparison of energy storage efficiency and lifecycle under different storage strategies is presented, further validating the effectiveness and economic viability of the proposed algorithm.
