Simple and Cost-Effective Direct Solvent Injection Technology to Rebirth the Waste EV Batteries

The rebirth the used and spent lithium-ion batteries by direct injection of solution which have a capability of recovering the electrical performance of spent or used batteries such as capacity. Resume of battery cycling efficiency. This solution is naphthazarin with cyano-graphene facilitates in recovering the lithium-ion batteries via providing more electrons, more lithium ions, reversibility of more metal ions. Resume of all major participants such as metals in active states, more electrons, more lithium ions result into electrical performance such as battery charging-discharging, capacity, calendar life etc. This paper covers the detail description of electrical performance recovery without any dismantling cells, degrading any of the component of battery. Here effect of solvents was evaluated in terms of rebirthing efficiency. The high potential control methodology was used for resume of electrical performance of batteries that mainly monitored by di-electric constant effect of solvent. The rebirthing of lithium-ion battery cells were examined in waste, 80% spent batteries as well as large battery packs also. After successful corroborations of commercial battery cells, one can conclude the effective simple cost-effective solutions for lithium-ion batteries to enhance its performance in terms of electrical properties and life. This can be a key solution to the current lithium-ion batteries challenges of cost and recycling process with low energy consumption for e-transportation applications.
