Application of Fiberoptic Differential Protection in Ship Lock Power Supply System
The power supply system of the ship lock represents the core of the ship lock operation. In light of the increasing demand for reliability, the original system protection method has proven to be inadequate in meeting the electrical safety requirements of the ship lock. Fiber optic differential protection offers a high level of sensitivity, robust anti-interference capabilities, and the ability to respond to disturbances at full line speed, making it a safe and reliable short-distance power supply line protection mode. This paper combines the ship locks power supply system protection and transformation process of fiber optic differential protection analysis, describes the practical application of fiber optic differential protection method, and through the fault test situation analysis summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of fiber optic differential protection. It then puts forward the use and improvement of the proposal, with a view to providing guidance and reference for the design of similar projects in the future.
