Fault Diagnosis Method for Reconfigurable Distribution Network Based on Intelligent Switches

Building a new type of power system is a key measure for the energy and power industry to promote the national carbon peak and carbon neutrality strategic goals. In the future, there will inevitably be a high proportion of clean energy sources such as distributed photovoltaics and small hydropower, as well as new types of loads such as energy storage and electric vehicle charging stations, which will be connected to low-voltage distribution networks. The current low-voltage distribution network is located at the end of the entire power grid, with characteristics such as wide distribution, complex power supply and consumption environment, and difficult operation and maintenance. This article forms a distribution network reconstruction architecture based on intelligent switches, with primary and secondary fusion of column mounted switches, lowvoltage smart switches, photovoltaic grid connected switches and other products as the core, forming a flexible and flexible grid structure with low-voltage local balance, medium voltage platform area mutual assistance, and main station comprehensive control. Based on this, a multi-level fault analysis and protection architecture for low-voltage distribution networks is proposed. Through the combination of intelligent switch current difference discrimination and expert knowledge base, precise protection for low-voltage distribution networks is achieved.
