Design of 5G mm-Wave Patch Antenna with Ultra Low Return Loss Using Rogers RT5880
5G wireless cellular systems are made to meet smartphone user's needs at millimeter wave bands. 5G is the fifth generation, which is reliable, fast and advanced. Better than the 4G wireless technology. The CST-MW simulator is used to study and simulate our antenna structure for 5G communication and it's uses. For 5G purposes, the primary focus of this work is to study the design of a micro-strip antenna with a micro-strip feed line working at a Resonant frequency of 25.78 GHz. We choose Rogers RT-5880 substrate material, which has a 0.787 mm as it's substrate height, 0.0009 as it's loss tangent and 2.2 as it's dielectric constant (ε). It is possible for using the suggested structure in 5G applications. For 5G applications, it is highly reliable and efficient. Thus, a good return loss of-51.94 dB, enhanced 4 GHz bandwidth, 10 dB high gain, outstanding nearly 100% antenna radiation efficiency has been obtained in the antenna our design.
