Renewable Energy Storage from Biomass Derived Carbon:Comparative Study
In this study, we propose a strategy to prepare carbon nanomaterials derived from biomass precursors aimed to fabricate electrodes for Energy storage systems, especially supercapacitor. The comparative analysis of different biomass precursors used for producing carbon, and different synthesis methods will be explained and discussed, how it will change the functionality and electrochemical properties of material so that it will be used for making good electrode for energy storage devices. We will use porous, functionalized material structures obtained after synthesis method using a step activation/carbonization process. These structures have numerous cavities and active sites, make the electrolyte more accessible, and boost ion transfer kinetics in storage device.
