Enhanced Solar PV System with Battery Storage and Grid Integration Using Cascaded ANFIS-Based MPPT and Self-Lift Luo Converter

This paper proposes a Photovoltaic (PV) system integrating a Self-Lift Luo Converter along with cascaded ANFIS based Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) approach for electric charging (EV). The Self-Lift Luo Converter operates as DC-DC step-up converter utilizing voltage lift technique, which minimizes voltage stress on power switch and improves efficiency by employing low on-state resistance. To optimize energy extraction from the PV panels, cascaded ANFIS-based MPPT algorithm is implemented. The converted voltage is stored in a battery through Bidirectional DC-DC converter, facilitating efficient energy management and utilization. A three-phase voltage source inverter managed by Proportional Integral (PI) controller is used for transferring excess energy into the grid, guaranteeing steady and dependable power transfer. This integrated system not only maximizes energy utilization but also contributes to grid stability, offering a sustainable solution for renewable energy integration. MATLAB simulations are used to examine the system's performance, revealing quick and adaptable EV charging solutions.
