Floral-Structured Circular Patch Antenna for WLAN Applications

In order to overcome the limitations of space and signal efficiency in WLAN applications, this work proposes a small 20 × 30 mm2 antenna that is developed on a FR4 epoxy substrate (εr = 4.4). With a return loss of -16.487 dB at 3.2 GHz and -13.11 dB at 5.8 GHz, the suggested antenna achieves excellent impedance matching and ensures low signal reflection (VSWR = 1.36). Simulations using CST Studio Suite 2024 confirm its excellent efficiency, steady radiation, and broadband performance. In contemporary wireless networks, its compact design maximizes utilization while improving operational reliability. Cost-effectiveness and structural stability are provided by the use of FR4 material. The suggested antenna's broad bandwidth and multiband characteristics make it the perfect choice for next-generation WLAN systems, where efficiency and small size are essential.
